Your fleet's data, kept in India and kept apart.
A transport business runs on its trip, customer and money records. Here is how FleetVeda keeps them.
Where your data lives
- Hosted in India
- On AWS in the Mumbai region, close to your trucks and under Indian law.
- Kept apart
- Every company's rows are isolated by row level security inside the database. The API refuses to start with a database role that could bypass it.
- Backed up
- The database and stored files are backed up every night.
- Encrypted in transit
- Every page, app and API call travels over HTTPS with HSTS.
Who can get in
- Sign-in
- Password or a one-time code on your phone, with sign-in attempts rate limited and counted.
- Two-factor
- An authenticator app code on top of the password, for every user who turns it on.
- One session per device type
- One browser and one phone session per person. A new sign-in on the same kind of device signs the older one out within about 15 minutes, and changing a password signs out everywhere.
- Roles and scope
- Role based access, modules switched off per person, and vehicle groups that limit which trucks someone can see.
What is recorded
- Audit log
- Every action, by whom and when, visible to your admins.
- Stored credentials
- Fuel card, GPS and maker platform credentials are encrypted before they are saved. API keys are kept only as a hash.
- Share links
- Live location links expire, can be revoked, and stop showing the truck once the trip is delivered.
- Customer logins
- A customer sees only the trips booked to them, and nothing else in your account.
Your data stays yours
- Exports
- CSV from lists and reports, Tally XML for every voucher.
- Read API
- Trips, LRs, vehicles, positions and invoices through a keyed API scoped to your company.
