Tanker

Prove how much of the shortage is temperature.

Dip and temperature at both ends, corrected to 15 °C with the commodity's expansion coefficient and compared with the customer's transit loss allowance. A quantity certificate settles the dispute.

What it does

Readings at both ends
Litres, temperature, density, a note and the challan photo, typed by the driver when the leg closes or by the office.
Reconciliation and verdict
Within allowance, thermal only, or a real loss of so many litres beyond the allowance.
Quantity certificate
A PDF with the readings, corrected volumes and the formula, filed on any invoice that bills a shortage.
Expected reading
Before the depot dips, the trip and the customer portal show what the reading should be at the probe's temperature.
Tank sensors
With a tank-sensor tracker fitted, cargo temperature, manhole and valve signals reach the live map, and an opening away from site raises an alert.
Fair attribution
A real loss opens a manager task. The manager charges the driver through the ledger or waives it with a reason.
